A Message from our Executive Director
Being a member of Farm Bureau is much more than simply belonging to an organization. While there are many tangible benefits that come with Farm Bureau membership, belonging to Farm Bureau is a way of life. If you farm, you should belong, after all, your ability to stay in farming depends on the viability of agriculture in Stanislaus County. By belonging, you add your voice to a powerful organization that is working hard to preserve and protect agriculture.
Farm Bureau is also about family. One of the things I find most rewarding are the relationships I’ve developed with Farm Bureau members over the years. It’s like a large, extended family.
If you’re already a member, we invite you to renew your membership when it comes due. We’d also like to ask you to invite a friend to join Farm Bureau. Our ability to be a strong voice in the community depends on our members. The income we receive from your membership goes directly towards our goal to protect and preserve agriculture in your county and in California.
If you’re not a member, then this message is for you. Even if you’re not a farmer but believe in protecting your private property rights and maintaining a quality of life that agriculture provides, then you need to join Farm Bureau.
Please feel free to call your local Farm Bureau office for more information and a membership application. Stanislaus County Farm Bureau: 209-522-7278 or Tuolumne County Farm Bureau office: 209-533-8386.
– Caitie Diemel, SCFB Executive Director
