About Us
We are a grass-roots organization dedicated to promoting and preserving agriculture in Stanislaus County.
As a member of the California Farm Bureau Federation and American Farm Bureau Federation, no organization advocates and works harder with all levels of government to protect your rights as farmers, ranchers and landowners.
Stanislaus County Farm Bureau was established in 1914 and has maintained a mission to serve and support local agriculturalists ever since.

President’s Message
In California agriculture, the only certainties are constant change and the need to do more with less. That’s why investing in the Stanislaus County Farm Bureau helps ensure your business and family have a strong advocate at both the local and state levels.
Investing in the Stanislaus County Farm Bureau means having a seat at the table — building relationships and engaging with local leaders before decisions are made. It means farm-first advocacy that keeps production agriculture and rural communities at the center of policy conversations.
It also means practical support, with resources and guidance to help members navigate regulations and identify workable compliance solutions. Backed by a long history as a strong voice at the state level, SCFB helps ensure agriculture is represented clearly, consistently and effectively — today and for the future.
Vance Ahlem, SCFB President
Executive Director’s Message
Being a member of Farm Bureau is much more than simply belonging to an organization. While many tangible benefits come with Farm Bureau membership, belonging to Farm Bureau is a way of life. If you farm, you should belong. After all, your ability to stay in farming depends on the viability of agriculture in Stanislaus County. By belonging, you add your voice to a powerful organization that is working hard to preserve and protect agriculture.
