Scholarship Opportunities
Stanislaus County Farm Bureau offers scholarships to Modesto Junior College students transferring to four-year universities or trade schools. There are three scholarship categories: the Stanislaus County Farm Bureau Scholarship, the John C. De Boer Scholarship and the Stan Sinclair Scholarship.

Ag EdVenture Days
Ag EdVenture Days happen during the school year and take place in locations around Stanislaus County. The events will eventually bring in about 7,500 third-graders from both public and private schools to experience agriculture first hand.
They hear presentations about many of the products we grow and produce in the Central Valley, They also see equipment up close and get to pet animals. This day requires numerous volunteers to put together.

Summer Library Program
The Stanislaus County Farm Bureau, in partnership with the Stanislaus County Library and Modesto Irrigation District, this summer will launch a library program for families.
Bring your kids for a fun and interactive activity while learning about the top 10 commodities grown in Stanislaus County.
Each of the 13 programs will include hands-on learning, fun take-home goodies, and a chance to discover how agriculture helps feed and fuel our community.

Spray Safe
Spray Safe is a great event that SCFB helps coordinate each year with the aid of community partners. The day provides growers with the chance to earn Continuing Education Hours toward their Pesticide Applicators Permits. They also may bring employees to receive critical and mandatory training. The event is put on at no charge thanks to industry contributions.
At Spray Safe, sponsors have an opportunity to participate in a tradeshow and for growers to interact with you. If you are interested in sponsoring or attending Spray Safe, please contact Anna Genasci, annag@stanfarmbureau.org.
Compliance & Safety Training
Stanislaus County Farm Bureau offers monthly training to help support our members. Farm Bureau members have access to these trainings for free or reduced pricing. We cover topics like heat illness prevention, food safety, equipment safety and HR 101. In addition to our in-person training, we offer pesticide continuing education webinars.
